What it gains though in ‘GPS+Cellular’ edition is…well…cellular service (and the associated magical red dot). In theory, it’s got the same heart rate sensor, as well as the same GPS capabilities. Of course, in many ways the Apple Watch Series 3 isn’t appreciably different for sports usage than the previous Apple Watch Series 2 unit.
